The Coalition is working to ensure that policymakers keep their promises on reform by fostering a robust public debate on education.

Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), states and districts pledged to implement a series of assurances, including:

• Better collection and use of data to track progress and foster continuous improvement
• Better college and career ready curriculum standards and rigorous assessments
• Better support and interventions for low performing schools
• Better teacher quality and distribution of effective teachers.
   

By showcasing state-by-state progress on ARRA assurances, we can hold education officials accountable for results.
